As the Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Delaware, I am immensely proud of the profound Impact our organization has had on the community. Our commitment to one-to-one mentoring has significantly shaped the lives of countless youth, fostering positive relationships that empower them to reach their full potential. However, recognizing the evolving needs of our youth, we are poised to expand and enhance our program services. Introducing group mentoring, academic enrichment, health and wellness, and career exploration programs has allowed us to reach more young minds, creating a supportive community that shares experiences and aspirations. Moreover, by integrating health and wellness initiatives, we aim to nurture not only academic success but also the overall well-being of our mentees. Career exploration and skills training will be pivotal in equipping our youth for a competitive future job market.
